Swimming with dolphins is a bucket-list item for many. At the Dubai Dolphinarium, you have two main options: The "Majestic Deep Swim" and the "Shallow Water Interaction". Which one should you choose?
Option 1: Shallow Water Interaction
Price: Approx AED 450 - 500
This is perfect for non-swimmers or younger children (usually ages 5+). You stand in waist-deep water, and the dolphin comes to you for hugs, kisses, and dancing. You don't actually "swim," but you get great photos.
Option 2: Deep Swim
Price: Approx AED 600 - 750
This is for confident swimmers only (usually ages 8+). You enter the deeper pool and get to hold onto the dolphin's dorsal fin for a ride across the water. It is a much more adrenaline-filled experience.
Is it Worth the Money?
It is certainly expensive for a 20-30 minute experience. However, unlike the open ocean, the environment is controlled and safe. If you have the budget, the Deep Swim is a once-in-a-lifetime memory that justifies the cost.
