What is the best time to visit Jebel Jais?

Every time of day has its merit. Sunset is the most popular—watching the sun dip below the jagged peaks and the Gulf in the distance is magical. Morning offers the clearest air for photography before any haze sets in. Weekdays are significantly quieter than weekends, when the mountain can get busy with local residents. If you want a peaceful experience, we recommend a Tuesday or Wednesday morning. For weather, winter days are crisp and perfect, but summer afternoons offer a relief you can't find anywhere else in the country.
